This was taken on my birthday. I look pretty bad, but the look of joy on John's face is so wonderful!
I sent out a big batch of pen pal letters this week. I am loving having a bunch of ladies to write :)
We went to the park today and fed some chicken scratch to the ducks. There were a ton of babies and they were so cute. Poor John sat in some pee after we fed them. We had to leave before he had a chance to play at the playground for very long because he smelled so bad.
After running all of our errands John came home and played a little piano. Josh and I really want to have John start taking lessons young. We have heard that the piano is an excellent foundation for learning to play other instruments as well. I love music so much, but I have no talent myself.
On another note, I went into Anthropologie today. I don't ever go in there because it is so ridiculously priced. However, I always see peoples posts about their gorgeous stuff, so I figured I would look. I feel like a snob, but I was literally disgusted by the price tags. I cannot belive someone would pay $88.00 for a shirt. I honestly believe that even if I had money I would be unable to spend it like that. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I just ridiculous?

Ok so I just watched Chocolat a few weeks ago and I absolutely LOVED it!!! Hubby fell asleep but thats ok lol

Ugh, I love and hate Anthropologie. The stuff they have is amazing and beyond beautiful but you are right, the prices are digusting. I have a wonderful perfume from there that was a birthday present that I use sparingly because I like it so much but will never purchase it for myself.

2. If your son wants to quit piano lessons don't let him. I wish I never quit and now I am trying to relearn everything-though I have gotten a million times better an improvising and playing by ear. Piano is awesome. I have two (not that it's something to brag about!)
Oh- I have a uke too but it's hard to play!
3. I'm totally with Rikki and you on Anthro. I go there just to look around but I think they only thing I ever bought there was a soap dish and I have had the same one for about 5 years now. I usually go there for inspiration and them come home and make the things that I saw there. I don't have that kind of money and like you if I did I wouldn't want to piss it away there anyways. I hate that people think things are better if they cost more. It's stupid.
Um...I think that's it for this time-oh! I did get your email but there are some questions that I think I'll just answer in my letter so don't think I am being a dick and not emailing you back!
