Courtney posted this feature about an "application" she had filled out to be somebody's BFF. I didn't fill out the application to be that gal's BFF, although I am sure she is cool. If I had a bajillion dollars

If I had endless monetary resources...

Disclaimer: These are in no particular order, except that this is how I added the images, boobies obviously do not come before babies :) The list also doesn't include everything I would do, it's just for fun :)

I would travel wherever I wanted to go: Alaska, Australia, Tibet, Vatican City, Prague, Pennsylvania, California, Paris, Ireland, Egypt, Morocco...the list would go on and on. I would travel by air, rail, sea, car, RV, bike and my own two legs.

Concerts: I would just go to any show that struck my fancy. I love live music more than just about anything.

I would live completely off the grid...solar, well water, wind generator, straw bale house, grey water reclamation, living roof, huge garden...it would be so magical.

Boobies, oh yes, I would get some new boobies. I am sure some of you moms know where I am coming from. I breastfed for 15 months, things just aren't the same after that. I used to say I just wanted them lifted, but I am pretty sure I would go for the whole

she-bang. I know it is so superficial, but I miss my old boobies.

I would take care of all the people that I love. I can think of nothing more rewarding than to take the burden of finances away from my parents. This is probably number two on my list after children.

I would have more babies, at least two. I don't know if they would be adopted or biological, whatever worked for my family. This is my number one dream, something I hope to make true regardless of having excess money.

The second part of this is that I would start a fund to help other people dealing with infertility. No one should be denied a family just because they don't have the money for IVF, IUI or adoption.

I would start a sanctuary to help with animal rescue, rehabilitation and care. This is number three in order of importance. There are so many little babies out there just waiting to be saved. We created most of the chaos and sadness that these animals deal with and we have a responsibility to fix it.

I would go to school and never ever stop. I could be a professional student for life. Outside of being a mom, being a student is what I do best.

Now, obviously I would do other things too, but most of those don't take lots of money and I will do them anyway. What would you guys do?

Randomization on a Saturday

This is my 100th post!! Wow, I can't believe I have actually stuck with my blog and I am so surprised at how much I enjoy it. It is so much fun to feel like a part of a community and to share things with everyone. Thanks for sticking around folks!

Things are crazy and chaotic around here, like usual I guess. Josh has been working like crazy between Starbucks, his A/V jobs, his travel business and handyman stuff. It is wonderful that he has so many things to keep him busy, and we surely need the money. However, and I am not really trying to complain, but I am burnt out. I could REALLY use a little time to myself...I know everyone could, but as a mom I need to refuel my gas tank a little. I think my mom is going to watch John one day this week, so I should get a chance to do just that.

In the meantime, I had a playdate yesterday with an awesome lady that I met last year through Facebook. She lives in my area and she is a non-religious, liberal, vegetarian stay-at-home mom. Hooray for meeting someone like minded who has kids John's age :)

Josh and I stayed up late last night and watched American History X. Josh isn't really a drama person, so I was surprised he wanted to watch it. I had forgotten how powerful and disturbing it is. It scared me because I feel like some of that racism and anger can really be felt around AZ right now and it is just so very sad. We had to watch a little 40 Year Old Virgin when we were finished so that we wouldn't got to bed sad.

If I watch a movie tonight, I think it is going to be this one...

I have never seen it, but I have heard wonderful things, so I am going to give it a shot.

Here is my latest crafty creation. A friend of our is having a baby soon and her shower is tomorrow. I bought the baby two little outfits, but I wanted to make something too. His dad is a pilot and the babyshower has an airplane theme so this is what I came up with. Hopefully they will like it.

Well everyone, I guess that is it for today. I have to say, I feel like I am in a bit of a blogging rut right now. Does anyone have anything they want to hear about? I don't think I am going to do a formspring because I think the lack of questions would be depressing. If there are any subjects you want to know, just let me know. First of all, I am watching Chocolat with my love and it is so good. I have never seen it before. I have really been trying to watch new films lately and since I get them for free from the library I have been indulging :)

This was taken on my birthday. I look pretty bad, but the look of joy on John's face is so wonderful!

I sent out a big batch of pen pal letters this week. I am loving having a bunch of ladies to write :)

We went to the park today and fed some chicken scratch to the ducks. There were a ton of babies and they were so cute. Poor John sat in some pee after we fed them. We had to leave before he had a chance to play at the playground for very long because he smelled so bad.

After running all of our errands John came home and played a little piano. Josh and I really want to have John start taking lessons young. We have heard that the piano is an excellent foundation for learning to play other instruments as well. I love music so much, but I have no talent myself.

On another note, I went into Anthropologie today. I don't ever go in there because it is so ridiculously priced. However, I always see peoples posts about their gorgeous stuff, so I figured I would look. I feel like a snob, but I was literally disgusted by the price tags. I cannot belive someone would pay $88.00 for a shirt. I honestly believe that even if I had money I would be unable to spend it like that. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I just ridiculous?
